Why donate?

For 10 years, North-South Cooperation has been working on projects to provide education and training to marginalized communities to enable their empowerment. It is thanks to our private donors like you that we are able to continue our activities and fund new projects.
As an example, for our current project in Karamoja, your donation helps to empower the marginalized women in the villages. Three examples of what we can achieve with your donation:

Can finance the purchase of 30 calculators, one per every woman member of a Village Savings and Loan Association.
You will thus contribute to the financial empowerment of 30 women.

Can finance one pit latrine, which will be used by two families.
You will thus directly enable two families to stop open defecation and start a more dignified and healthier life.

Can finance the full training (2.5 years) of one nurse or midwife.
You will thus directly help a young woman become a local health care professional.
